This Reverse Osmosis (RO) under-sink mounted water filter and Point-of-use water softener is certified to NSF/ANSI 58 and contains 7 different stages of filtration to remove up to 99% of over 1,000 contaminants, including lead (up to 98%), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, PFAS, asbestos, calcium, and sodium, among others.
Equipped with an advanced 11-watt UV stage, the RCC7AK-UV is a suitable option for dealing with various water sources, including well water and other unreliable sources like lakes and streams. The unique flow sensor switch automatically turns the UV unit on and off with water flow, saving power and extending the life of the UV lamp.
Reverse Osmosis not only removes harmful pollutants but also a few beneficial minerals. The Alkaline Remineralization (AK) filter restores these healthy minerals and a natural alkaline balance, producing a more natural taste that comes from the right balance of these minerals.
Featuring quality components, the system ensures reliability and low maintenance for many years. The clear see-through 1st stage housing makes filter inspection a breeze.
The RO system under-sink is designed to work with a feed water pH range of 3.0 to 11.0 and a feed water pressure of 45-70 psi. The water temperature should be between 40-100°F (4 - 38°C).
